Our technical skills workshops at Phoenix First Aid offer in-depth training on specific first aid techniques and trauma care. If you're not quite ready for the full qualification or just want experience of a specific illness or injury, we can tailor a workshop to your requirements to provide you with the skills needed to respond effectively to these scenarios.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is a formal qualification that provides you with the skills to respond to an injury in the workplace that requires immediate attention.

You will receive theoretical input as well as getting "hands-on" so that you are able to recognise a problem and respond in a effective manner to aid your casualties.

All of our formal courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body and the certificates are recognised by both the Health and Safety Executive and Ofsted

The Paediatric First Aid (PFA) course is a formal qualification that provides you with the skills to respond to an injury or illness involving children and infants.

Outdoor First Aid

Outdoor First Aid

The Outdoor First Aid course is a formal qualification that provides you with the skills to respond to an injury or illness in an outdoor environment where immediate assistance may not be available.

You will receive theoretical input as well as getting "hands-on" so that you are able to recognise a problem and respond in a effective manner to aid your casualties as well as how to promote their recovery in a remote environment, for example, Duke of Edinburgh.

Fire Marshal Training

Fire Marshal Training

The Fire Marshal training course provides you and your employees with information on how to respond to a fire in the workplace.

This course covers the regular responsibilities of your Fire Marshals, the equipment they might need and how to prepare for and react to an emergency.

Manual Handling Training

Manual Handling Training

The Manual Handling training course provides you and your employees with information and techniques on how to avoid injuries in the workplace through improper handling techniques.

This course discusses the impact of improper manual handling to the employee and the business and demonstrates practically on how to move loads to avoid injury.
